Q: What is Rotary?
A: Rotary International is the world's first service club organization,
with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary
club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and
internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide
education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the
motto Service Above Self.
Q: How do you raise funds?
A: Throughout the year, Rotary Club of Verrazano has fundraisers in the
form of charity auctions, golf outings, card nights and other methods.

you wish to help.
Q: Are you a charitable organization?
A: Yes. Rotary Club of Verrazano is a 501c3 organization.
Q: How can I help?
A: By attending one of our functions. Or if you are a business that can
donate products or services that we can pass through to our
beneficiaries.
Q: Where do you meet?
A: We meet every Wednesday evening at
Gargiulo's. Meetings are by invitation only. For an invitation,
please contact us.
Q: Is there a program I can get involved
with?

Q: What is a Rotaract?
A: Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women
ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based,
and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true
"partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. More
